IWT is a training method that combines a mix of multi-articular free weight exercises (not guided by cable or machine) and aerobic exercises. We will therefore use exercises where the aim is to move a load over a large range of motion, for full strength development, and an exercise that is more "aerobic" in nature, for anaerobic power.
This training method has a major impact on the anaerobic capacity and power.
This work, which is done at maximum power, is also very useful in a program whose objective would be the loss of weight and unwanted body fat.
